Justice Somashekar's legal journey began with his appointment as a District and Sessions Judge on June 17, 1998. He was elevated to the position of an additional judge of the Karnataka High Court on November 14, 2016, and subsequently became a permanent judge on November 3, 2018. Throughout his tenure, he has been recognized for his commitment to upholding the principles enshrined in the Constitution and for his contributions to the justice delivery system.
As he transitions to his new role in the Manipur High Court, Justice Somashekar remains steadfast in his dedication to the Constitution and the rule of law.
